My Review - 4/5 stars The undead truth of us was really creepy in a beautiful way. This book follows Zharie a teen who starts seeing zombies everywhere after the death of her mom. She meets a Bo named Bo who is a bit different than anyone else she’s seen - he’s a half zombie. The zombies seem to be a manifestation of her grief. It’s a beautiful magical realism book with gritty details. I imagine that reading this book is a bit what feeling high is like. I like that a lot of this book is up to our own interpretation.
