Leave the Little Light on


This book is a fictional memoir that follows Athena through a turbulent childhood to graduation. It explores themes of family, religion, sexuality, mental health and more. Athena’s raw and unfiltered emotions really resonated with me. I did find a format error with chapter 53 being in the middle of a page(this did get fixed), besides for that this story flowed very well in chronological order, I liked the authors writing style. It’s 400 pages but I read it in a day. I’m excited to see what’s next in Athena’s journey(A THERAPIST HOPEFULLY)
